Growth severely blocking view
11th June
Coming off M62 towards services and A162. Looking right the view of traffic coming round the island is severely blocked by tall vegetation. I drive a Nissan Qashqai and sit quite high on the road. I could not see a small Picanto car approaching as it was totally obscured behind the tall weeds. I had to brake hard and the vehicle behind me came close to shunting me. It is now very dangerous and likely to cause an accident soon.

8 inch pothole on hilltop parade infront of the shops. Infront of takeaway shop at top of the arcade hill

This pothole has been here for a significant amount of time. When car spaces are used it is almost impossible to not drive through the pothole. It is very large and would do serious damage to a car at some point I am sure.

For several years this road has not had enough speed limit repeaters. The signs should be spaced at regular intervals. After the change of speed signs there are only a small number of repeaters and there are long stretches of this road between them.

A162 Hugh amount of rubbish

From m62 junction all along A162 to Brotherton, both sides, lots and lots of plastic, rubbish etc. has been there quite a while building up. Members of the litter picking are not allowed on that road so would someone from the council sort it out please?

Large road break up outside Pottery Court on Pontefract Rad
Knottingley.
Issue has been getting worse over the past 6 months. The road is breaking up. The road is used by HGV's and when driven over is causing substantial vibrations to properties in the immediate vicinity. It wakes you up at night due to the noise and vibrations it causes.

The dual carriageway from Byram to Pontefract A162 on both sides has litter on the sides of the road which is unacceptable and I don't know how Wakefield Council are getting away with allowing it to get into such a state. Do the highways drive everywhere with their eyes closed. This road has been like this for over a year.
