What is Maestro?

Why are some postcodes missing?

This is usually due to new postcodes being released, which we are unable to cross-match data at ONS "OA (Output Area) Level". In some cases, the data is unavailable because of the OA best-fit model which ties Census 2021 data with postcodes, which is not an exact science.

What are desirability factors?

Desirability factors are criteria that define what makes a postcode area suitable for you. Examples include Safety, Transport, Green Spaces, and Affordability. You can select the factors that matter most to you in the sidebar to personalise your search. Alternatively, use one of the demographic profiles to select pre-determined factors, making it easier and quicker for you.

What do the map colours mean?

The map colours represent how well each postcode matches your selected factors:

• Dark Blue: Strong match
• Medium Blue: Moderate match
• Light Blue: Weak match
