The whole stretch between the quarry entrance and just past the crossroads is in need of resurfacing
19th June
This stretch of road has had individual pothole reoakred very badly. Which has caused bumos. Sectio s of it the tarmac ha gone. Their are cracks in the junctiins and i yhe middke ka e waiti g to turn. Ore ious oothole reoaira further uo again has niy been adequate and has left with raised surface.. Previously was told that this are was getting done but actually they gritted the shellingford road and the hatford road and done nothing about the junction or the road between quarry and junction which is the major problem. Also further up the drains are broken yet again for what seems like the 3rd time in six months. Each time tany resurfaci g work gets done the junction is missed.

Multiple potholes
19th June
I have reported this before and still nothing has been done. I received a email stating it would be done within a month yet still 3 months on nothing has happened. Its getting very bad now and its going to either cause a accident due to people driving in the centre of the road to avoid the potholes or major damage to peoples vehicles!

Endless growing potholes
11th June
All along the left side of the A417 heading towards Faringdon. Why would the council resurface the roads to the right and left of the A417 when the 417 is desperate for repairs and resurfacing?! Why not do the inner road between Fernham and Longcot?! People are fed up of of trashing their cars due to council negligence. Sort it out! Stop filling tiny repairs that fail within 6 months! Shocking eater of tax payer money!

Temporary traffic lights
3rd June
I have reported this problem before and Im sure so many others have the temperature traffic lights go green and theres oncoming traffic coming through so the traffic coming from Farrington direction never seems to get through these traffic lights are a bloody joke 10 minutes just to wait for them to go green so we could just get a few cars to go through this has to be sorted. Its an absolute joke. How poorly run this construction is we have already had to put up with traffic lights for a year and now these ones are staying till October and they cant even work properly

Potholes and poor road surface
31st May
Some of the potholes in this area (by Mill Farm) were recently filled and not very well, because the repairs are crumbling and there are more potholes that need to be filled. This stretch of road needs resurfacing instead of more attempts to fill potholes.

Broken grate
16th May
Again the grate at the side of the road is broken and missing. Now there is a large hole causing traffic to move over into the path of the traffic coming in the opposite direction.
Can a longer term solution be found to resolve this?

Vehicles Parker on crossing and zig zag lines
14th May
Every morning and afternoon at school drop off and pick up times parents part on the zig zag lines and over the zebra crossing outside the school directly opposite the Co-op, removing all visibility and making it extremely dangerous to cross the road even for an adult, Llewelyn alone an unaccompanied 4ft tall child. Somebody will lose their life if this is not policed.

Huge stretch of “road” now practically unpaved
1st May
This stretch of road (about 30m) has had all of the tarmac come away and has been here for a while. Its incredibly dangerous to all road traffic as you have to swerve around the worst of the holes but still end up hitting very uncomfortable holes which could throw cars directions off, very likely damaging cars as they drive over, and definitely dismount cyclists. Id recommend to fix it before the wet weather returns to prevent it getting any worse!
