Concerns about speeding traffic
14th June
The speed limit for Glory Mead is set too high at 30mph. This is a small road with a lot of flats and houses either side of it and with a lot of young children and many pets living here.
Frequently, traffic on Glory Mead travels fast or faster than the speed limit, which can be seen on my RING camera. If a child or a pet unexpectedly steps out on the road, this would cause an accident and it is an accident waiting to happen.
In March this year, my cat was hit by a speeding car in a nearby road and the sticker didnt even stop.

Motorbikes speeding through the pedestrian underpass between Chart Downs and Goodwyns
13th June
We have received a report from a resident as follows: "Twice this week in the evening between 7-8 pm there have been kids/teenagers riding motorbikes on King George V playing field, this evening they came flying out of the tunnel from Goodwyns estate straight across the field narrowly missing my dog. It has spoilt my evening walk twice this week. These bikes were going far too fast up and down the field. They came out of the tunnel that leads to Goodwyns Estate. There used to be barriers at either end of the tunnel but since they have been removed bikes/scooters can come out fast without stopping to get round the barriers. I have witnessed near misses when people have been using the path and nearly been hit by bikes!" Please could you visit the subway and assess if barriers could be reinstalled or other measures taken to deter motorbikes and ensure pedestrians can use the subway safely. Thank you.

Giant Hogweed
12th June
This has already been reported but the ticket appears to have been closed with no update on any action taken. As of today, 15h00 on June 12th, the hogweed is still there, right next to the footpath which is used by local community members including kids travelling to and from school who won't be aware of the danger of this weed.
