Vehicles Parking too close to a junction
9th June
An increased volume of cars are parking at the top of Park View Road and not observing the Highway Code. Vehicles are being parked on the junction creating one lane and forcing opposing vehicles to turn into oncoming traffic. This is creating dangerous scenarios for both drivers and pedestrians. We encountered another vehicle whilst exiting our road whom had to reverse back into traffic. I have now read that the vehicles in question should have been reported to the Police at the time. However, we note that yellow lines have been painted at Park Avenue on the junction, where no one ever parks and would suggest similar is done here to remind those not blessed with common sense and perhaps dare I say it, should not hold a license that entitles them to operate heavy machinery with the potential to kill (but that's another argument).
