Cars are Parking Across the Pavement
11th February
Cars are parking across the Pacement, forcing pedestrians into the road and also making the lane very narrow and more hazardous. Could Yellow lines be put in place to restrict Partking on Dartmouth Road. Often pedestrians/ children are forced to walk on the road around cars blocking the pavement. This is very dangerous and I fear could result in an accident.

Harleston Cross TQ7 2BH.
19th February
From Harlston Cross right down to the bottom of the hill in Harleston, there are a considerable number of potholes, not only on the side of the road but also in the middle and in many places the road surface has disappeared and also broken up, particularly on the lower half of the hill. Much of the damage has been caused by the total lack of any drainage to cope with the flowing surface road water, resulting in the non-existent socalled gutters being washed out. All this has been reported long since, but no action has resulted with damage to cars almost inevitable. Road repairs are currently taking place on the minor main road from Chillington to Coles Cross passing through Harleston Cross, prior presumably to resurfacing, and it would appear an ideal opportunity for the very necessary and much needed repairs to be carried out at the same time to Harleston. There would be obvious cost savings for the work to be done at the same time, rather than having to return separately to do what will inevitably become last ditch repairs. It is hard to believe that such an opportunity is being casually dismissed. Perhaps it isn't, but there are no encouraging signs at the moment.
