Buddle hole completely blocked
17th December
This buddle hole was blocked last winter when a tree fell over the road. When the local farmed cleared the road, the brash appeared to have been left on the inside of the field, completely blocking access to the buddle hole on the inside. The then Highways Inspector Darren Cole I believe spoke to the landowners at Manor House to try to get the inside of the buddle hole cleared. To date nothing appears to have been done, and the buddle hole on the lane as marked is now virtually invisible. This is causing all run off to gather speed as it goes down the hill, missing the buddle hole, and then continuing downhill down Mill Lane causing more erosion. Would appreciate a call on this one please.
