Parked vehicle Blocking carriageway

The truck has been parked in the carriageway on numerous occasions blocking the road. The owner has been asked not to park in this location as it is a narrow section of new road but refuses to move, stating that it is not illegally parked. However it is a hazard to road users in both directions .

Traffic lights causing huge tail backs in and out of the town
25th February
I am a self employed gardener in the area and I was absolutely shocked by the lack of co ordination that was carried out today of 1 road closure and another of roadworks in our town today. The absolute chaos of traffic these caused our town today was shocking. As if it isnt hard enough to be self employed and promote work for ourselves, you are slowly killing off our town of the main entrances to the town. Every single road in and out was inaccessible for cars today. I have several jobs and customers in the town and the village that I live in and this is going to be unbearable to access over the next few months of these roadworks. Why cant we consider night shift work for these sort of roadworks? This particular road has been dug up for works so many times over the last year or even 2 years and causes havoc for commuters, works and trade workers.
From the information thats been provided it looks as if this particular job is being carried out until May?
Please can you elaborate on what is being carried out and if it needs to be for such a long time to disturb the already busy road we have take to get in and out of our town.

Drains are completely blocked
16th January
The longs drain covers are completely blocked with dirt/mud and have grass growing out of them. No water can drain and you get a large puddle in the area with even a small amount of rain. It is directly outside number One Wellington Street on the corner of The Triangle

Spring running down road
9th January
There is a spring which is coming up from under the ground and water is running down the road. This morning due to cold weather caused it to turn to sheets of ice which was very dangerous for cars. It has been reported to South West Water but they are saying it is a spring and not their issue.

Old Duvet fly tipping
5th January
The old duvet has been dumped on the steps on the footpath leading down to the estuary from the A381 at TQ14 9PL. This footpath goes down and under the railway line onto the riverside. It is on the south side of the main road.It has been there for a few months.

Wooden rubbish and litter.
5th January
This rubbish has been here at Salcombe Dip (old road off A381) TQ14 9PL for over 6 months at least. One large piece is at the entrance to the elec sub station and another in the opposite hedge. Also smaller litter scattered throughout this area.

Over flowing bins and excessive litter

We have a serious problem with littering at Barnpark Terrace. Some of this is due to insufficient waste disposal and recycling facilities but there is also an issue with residents and visitors to the area not taking responsibility for their rubbish.

Lots of fly-tipping
4th January
The car park outside Barnpark Terrace has become a site for fly-tipping. While some of this comes from residents in the building people from the wider community are also using this area as a dumping ground. The issue has been going on for several years but in the last months its become particularly bad.

Former Spar shop now a dilapidated eyesore opposite Tesco's

Pavement very poor on wheelchair route
9th October
This is the only way that wheelchair users can get to platform 2 at the station. It's not possible from within the station. The footway's surface is broken with lots of loose debris. This makes an inadequate route even worse for powered wheelchair users. Please repair or the relay the footway surface on the bridge. It's the only wheelchair route to platform 2.
