Road flooding
19th October
After many months of road closure to install improved drainage we find that the road is becoming badly flooded again. This is after only a short period of fairly heavy rain. What will happen when winter storms arrive? This is in an area of bends in the road and the deeper water is causing drivers to swerve around it in the face of oncoming traffic. Poor driving but it happens. For cyclists, the road again becomes dangerous.
Please take action with your contractors to remedy this issue.

Blocked grid and drain A382
9th January
Grid and top of drain blocked with what appears to be road grit and materials. At this point in the road the camber and slope cause the water to flow across the road which bends sharply. Particularly if the surface freezes this will become dangerous. The road is very busy with cars, agricultural vehicles, vans and heavy lorries.
