This road is maintainable by Devon County Highways
13th June
The surface requires re-surfacing throughout. Spray and chip will not do the job, the potholes are too deep and in places continuous. The surface has become a danger to both drivers and vehicles.

Potholes in need of urgent repair before winter
26th September
Several large potholes and a few patches where the road has 'broken away' along the road between Luesdon Church and the lane to Blackadon Down. Was told that the whole road was going to be re--surfaced this summer but it was only done in patches at the bottom of the hill at Townwood. There are also a few rough patches at The Glen just above Townwood Farm.

Potholes
5th February
This pothole is extending with every downpour of rain; it is more than a metre long now. Also potholes on the lower part of Eastern Lane (near Eastern Cross) are getting worse and caused a puncture in our car last night!

Pot holes
31st January
There have been several deep and unavoidable pot holes in this lane for many months, but since the recent snow and heavy rain they have become significantly worsened and are now causing damage to the rims of our car tyres. This is a single track lane and it is not wide enough to be able to move around the pot holes.

Fly Tipping
27th March
Loads of fly tipping rubbish - looks like old building/shed dumped in Car Park at Belstone. There is also some flytipping on the way to Leigh Tor near Poundsgate (on main path from road). Noticed both whilst checking moorland stock.

Potholes and damaged road
7th November
The road is covered in potholes and has many damaged areas from Leusdon Church all the way down to the River Dart at the bottom of the hill. The road needs resurfacing completely as it is so damaged and is used everyday by walkers, cars, horses, bikes and occassionally by farm machinery so is getting generally unsafe with the winter coming.
