Cars parked on grass verges
18th April
This property is an air b&q , the owner of the property has informed his guests to park there cars on the grass verge rather than use the parking allocated to his property. This is not a dropped curb and should not be used as a car park. In the winter months the grass verge just looks a mess , none of the nearby neighbours are happy with this situation.

They are friends with the people who live in flat number 17 between the residence there is 5 vehicles but only 2 people who actually live here and are using our car park and a make shift living space between there cars this is a fire hazard due to the heaters the have inside . One of the other residents has already reported to council and nothing has happened .

Dangerous Parking on Entrance AND a Bend!!!!
24th March
For a period of time there has been inconsiderate , dangerous and idiotic parking on the entrance / exit to Watercress Lane. Not only is it dangerous to those residents that have to endanger themselves when trying to enter and exit the cul-de-sac road those parking with the brains of a rocking horse are endangering other considerate road users and passengers in vehicles and buses. To park on a marked junction is one thing, to park on a bend is another and yet for idiots who do not even live down that road to do both is inexcusable. Not forgetting that they constantly park half on / half off a footpath creating unnecessary obstructions for both wheelchair users , prams and pedestrians ( Hence why it is called a FOOTPATH) Sadly the council and police are about as much use as a chocolate teapot as they are well aware of the inconsideration but will do nothing until there is an accident or even potentially a loss of life, by which time it will be too late!!!!

Road has disintergrated
14th February
The road coming up from the M20 to the roundabout has lost most of the top surface. Ironically the road was marked up as being shut earlier this month for repairs, but the lower half was resurfaced. The top half and onto the roundabout is like driving across mini trenches.

Double yellow parking
7th January
There is new neighbours moved into 30 arlington that keep parking on the double yellow lines out the front. Nobody else parks there they find somewhere else yet this driver keeps doing it everyday. It wasn't long ago someone smashed into the disabled car in front of the double yellows and is just another accident waiting to happen. These neighbours are extremely affecting my mental health and physical health with their dog constantly barking but they put the dog outside for hours on end even if it's raining or freezing cold the dog yelps as we hear it getting beaten but rapca say it's a council issue but these new owners think they run the street and it's not fair on everyone else. The issue has gone on now since they moved in. Possibly 2 or 3 months now

Dangerous parking obstruction FOOTPATH access for prams and wheelchair users
10th September
On going problems with inconsiderate parking preventing access for puushchairs and wheelchair users. It is a FOOTPATH and NOT a path for vehicles. Coupled with the fact they are parked on a bend near an entrance / exit to a cul de sac road they do not even live at!!! Parking in such a manner CAN lead to a 70 fine as well as implications should an accident occur following the inconsiderate parking and yet neither the drivers concerned nor the local council seem to have any issues UNTIL an accident occurs and then all will deny any liability!

People dumping piles of “charity” items outside shop every weekend
8th September
People are consistently leaving huge piles of items which are essentially rubbish (not sellable) under the guise of charity donations outside the shop in the singleton centre. They do this every weekend when the shop is closed and it ends up all over the car park by the time the shop is open. Picture was taken by a local resident today - there is CCTV at the centre which might identify them. It was pouring with rain so anything left would be ruined anyway. It is essentially fly tipping.

Yet More stupid and dangerous parking
2nd September
How are foot passengers and wheelchair users able to access the paths with idiotic parking like this!!! Why do they not park around the back of their own properties or on own driveways where there is less risk to other road users and pedestrians. This has been going on for a few months now and with more and mpre vehicles thinking that if nobody is being challenged then it must be ok to park on pathways or in dangerous positions. will it only get dealt with when there is a fatality or a really bad accident. This is also on a main road serviced buy a bus route , which in turn is causing access problems for the buses and putting passengers at risk

Dangerous Parking on Junction / entrance to road
2nd September
Yet again idiotic parking on the junction of a private cul-de-sac road endangering other road users and pedestrians. It is a public pavement but with parking on the pavement it endangers / restricts the use of the footpath by pedestrians and wheelchair users!!! These drivers do not even live down watercress lane!! They are also dangerously restricting the view of on coming traffic from both entrance and exit to the road. They are also speeding down the road in order to turn around so they are facing the correct way to leave the cul-de-sac road they dont even live on!! Should there be an accident / fatality due to the stupidity of the parking they could be liable to claim or even manslaughter!

Parking obstructing pavement
24th August
Parking on the pavement outside the new triangle development obstructs the path. I have seen people struggling to get around this, having to go on the road - including elderly in mobility scooters, parents with young children and buggies. This is dangerous and its only a matter of time before someone gets hurt. The cars also drive quite fast and wouldnt be able to stop on time. This has been on going the last few months since properties are being sold/rented, without any onsite parking available as the development has not been finished. What three words - ///thick.clown.socket
