Extremely hazardous broken drain grating
28th May
Half the drain grating has fallen into the drain. This is on the exact path someone would use to cross the Ridgeway to proceed down valley road. Someone pushing a baby buggy etc would be in serious danger of falling through.

Dangerous edges to passing places
19th February
Since constant HGVs have been routing to an industrial site (without planning permission) the passing places on the single track road, already unsuitable for such vehicle, have got a lot worse. They gouge out the passing places, making them to deep for normal cars to use. Residents run the risk of causing great damage to their cars if they have to use them. This is made worse by said industrial site now draining the land into ditches on the roadside which flood the passing places. It needs addressing/enforcing to be made safe!

White lines in centre of road on a sharp bend are obliterated.
17th February
This is a sharp bend and cars travelling from Codicote towards Kimpton frequently take the bend on wrong side of the road thus causing a danger to traffic travelling from Kimpton towards Codicote . If the white lines were reinstated, it might encourage drivers to stay on their side of the road. ///activism.eaten.cowboy

Fallen Tree in the path way
23rd January
The bushes extending onto the road should be cleared as soon as possible, as they pose a significant safety risk by obstructing drivers' views and narrowing the roadway. This creates potential hazards, especially for larger vehicles or when navigating curves, and could lead to accidents or near misses. Clearing the bushes would improve visibility and ensure safer driving conditions for everyone on the road.

Forgotten traffic lights
2nd December
There is a forgotten set of traffic lights that are still operational but installed at the wrong time. A generator was left in the road with cones around it on a blind corner; it was very dangerous. The generator was removed and less than an hour later the traffic lights arrived to protect the non existent generator they remain a week later blocking the road with no purpose.
