Over hanging bushes
25th June
Good morning, I'm writing to yet again bring up the overhanging trees/bushes in great Ashby.. as you can see from the images there are warning signs completely covered by them!. They need to be maintained and trimmed back as they are also pushing us to drive on the wrong side of the road to avoid damage.. in first mentioned these last year and they still haven't been maintained.

The overgrown verges are now a hazard as they affect visibility when driving, this poses risk to cyclists and pedestrians too and damage to vehicles as the overgrown grasses are scratching paintwork. Please sort this out ASAP and not on the next scheduled cut, as itll just be missed out again!

Dangerously parked vehicles
22nd May
Cars/vans are constantly parked on the corners of not only this turning but many along York Road. This is a dangerous situation as you are unable to see up and down the road and have to pull out blind. Can yellow lines be placed on the curves to prevent an accident that is waiting to happen.

Trees overgrowing into road on bus route
22nd May
Good morning, we currently are having trouble with the trees coming into contact with our mirrors on this road. The trees are currently growing passed the railings and over the road signs at this location and are proving a nuisance to our buses, can we please get this trimmed back, many thanks.

Two purple bins full of rubbish
16th May
Bin for #30 Mendip Way has not been emptied since the people renting it moved out several months ago.
Other purple bin, is unknown who this belongs to, I think it was just dumped here by kids messing about., but has not been emptied for a couple of years. it is not for one of the houses in this area, I think it is a spare bin that needs emptying and collecting by the council

Potholes on roundabout Verity Way / Martins Way
3rd May
I was very pleased to see that road resurfacing work on Martin Way began in April. However, I was disappointed to find that only a small section of the eastbound side has been fully refurbished, and the work has since stopped. It makes little sense to remove all the machinery while leaving the roundabout near the Shell station in such poor condition.

Bins on boundaries`
29th April
We have had continuous reports of the bins being on the footpath outside the back gate of 123 Ripon Road. Can this please be looked into?
Can we also look to have a meeting after the elections to discuss a joined up approach in respect of the bins?
