Grass Verge opposite 2 & 4 Cooper Close
7th August
Some years ago Beds CC put 5 wooden posts in to the verge outside our 2 houses. Ever since then the grass cutting contractor has either failed to cut the grass at all or just done the bits that that can get to with a large ride-on mower. All of the posts are slowly rotting away, and the first has now fallen. Can you please take it away and, while you're at take the other 4 out to save having to come back again.

End of road (hawthorn way)
31st July
The tree is so badly overgrown it has destroyed a fence that protects against children possibly falling into the brook. It is also so over grown that the little bit of land next to my fence has now become so overgrown with weeds and the tree it's self is hanging so low that the grass cutters don't even bother coming down here anymore. The overgrown tree also affects the already very limited parking at the bottom of this street. It is a complete eyesore that really does need to be sorted out not to mention be made safe to make sure the local children including my own don't run the risk of falling down in to the brook.

Dead tree boughs falling onto A600
25th July
The 'beautiful' tree adjacent (partially overhanging) to my property periodically drops onto the uber-busy A600 Bedford Road at //roughest.dressing.tanks// The frequency has marketing increased in recent months - evidenced by the 3m+ bough I recovered yesterday evening (moderate breeze), the surviving section of a much larger piece. Inspection has shown many 'dead' areas above the carriageway waiting for encouragement and gravity to take their course. The lylandi trees on the opposite side of the road (privately owned) are due to be be felled in August. Thus may leave the tree in question more vulnerable. Believe this to be an imminent danger.

Station Road
Lower Stondon
It is extremely difficult to walk up this stretch of pathway as trees/bushes overhang and take over the path. Most of the way by the bus stop is single file - which makes it dangerous if someone at the bus stop The bushes need taking back to the fence and also the height taken out of them.

Blocked drains either side of dropped kerb at no 31 Bedford road.
6th July
Blocked kerb drains either side of no 31 causing rain water to cascade down driveway and fill no 31 Bedford road with water. This causes damp issues with the building long term. Also cannot use front door when surrounded by water.

Station Road between Redwing Croft and the Post Office
3rd July
The section of Station Road near the post office is permanently a single lane at all times of the day due to on street parking bays, which causes congestion and frustration daily. It is also safety issue having witnessed multiple accidents in this area due to the layout and sight lines. There are multiple barriers along the footpath that have been destroyed after being hit by vehicles.
When heading eastbound towards Henlow Camp on Station Road from the junction with Red Wing Croft to the roundabout it is single lane due to the on street vehicle parking bays. What makes matters worse it is also on a bend and impossible to see oncoming traffic without pulling out into the right hand lane and then find you are heading towards oncoming traffic. This is only going to get worse with increased traffic on this section of road.
