Large water main leak on Windy Rise
14th December
There is a water main leaking badly on Windy Rise, the water is pouring out of the ground & dangerously flooding the Munden Road. From the blue markings on the pavement it does look as though someone official may have already assessed it, but there has been a leak in this location & repaired several times in the past

Blocked gully
8th December
The Munden road between Sacombe Pound & Dane End is flooding badly due to a blocked gully. This was cleared earlier this year & previous heavy rainfall drained really well. The road is now flooded for some distance, so I can only conclude the drain requires clearing again.

Lack of parking spaces causing huge problems!
15th June
Dane End have various streets that are part of the main bus route in and out of the village. Founceley Avenue is one street on this main bus route but the lack of adequate parking areas is causing huge problems. The road is wide enough to fit one car on one side of the road, in order for a bus to pass safely. Because of this, people park on grass verges, damaging trees and mangling up the grass areas, causing huge muddy messes. When parked on verges this causes a smaller width for the buses to get by. If a bus struggles, then a fire engine would definitely struggle. Alot of people along Founceley Avenue are disabled and/or elderly. They rely on the bus service and those who own cars cannot park outside their homes due to this lack of parking space.
