Badly maintained hedges
18th July
Contractors for the council have left mass amounts of branches from trees and large parts of hedges strewn across the pathways at KGV playing fields. The hedges around the old childrens park and also where the old putting green used to be (adjacent to the area of the bowling greens) have been hacked back and damaged so severely and unprofessionally it looks like the work has been done by imbeciles. The council and their contractors should be held to account and proceed to put the unsightly damage right. Come on WHDC, its meant yo be a garden city NOT a bomb site, if the residents of the conservation area were to cause such damage to the hedges and trees in their gardens, the council would be down on them lie a ton of bricks with large fines

The road and the signs that indicate a bend are so dirty and dusty all the time that you cannot see them. They do not reflect the light like they are supposed and the road is awful if you are not careful you can easily skid, my car is filthy as I have to use this road every day and the the stones and rocks on it are dangerous causing chips in my car windscreen and they fall off the back of the lorrys that come out of a site there

Leaking water ingressing from the entrance to the site causing gravel to cause a hazzard to Bikers as well as obscuring road markings.
18th June
Am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the ongoing issue of water flowing from the entrance to the site used by heavy lorries over the past few months. This situation has led to several significant problems that pose serious risks to road users, particularly motorcyclists.
The primary issues are as follows:
Visibility of Road Markings: The constant flow of water and mud from the site has covered the road markings, making them virtually invisible. This lack of visibility creates a hazardous environment for all road users.
Road Surface Conditions: Stones and mud are frequently present on the road surface at the entrance to the site. This debris reduces the grip on the road, posing a particular danger to motorcyclists who are more susceptible to accidents due to slippery conditions.
Recent Resurfacing: The road has been recently resurfaced, yet the white markings on the edges of the lanes are already obscured by mud and debris. This defeats the purpose of the resurfacing and continues to endanger road users.
I urge you to take immediate action to address these issues. The safety of all road users is paramount, and the current conditions are unacceptable. I request that measures be taken to prevent water and mud from flowing onto the road and that regular cleaning and maintenance be conducted to ensure the road remains safe and clear of debris.
I look forward to your prompt attention to this matter and would appreciate a response outlining the steps that will be taken to resolve these issues.
