Traffic control causing dangerous obstruction
11th September
The fencing and signs that have been put up here instead of fixing the bridge are causing a dangerous obstruction and I have been involved in numerous near misses myself. I can only imagine how severe a collision could be here, assuming there hasn't already been one.
This bridge needs fixing. Not just fencing off. It is a busy commuter route.

Large number of potholes on LHS descending into Ribchester
4th February
Multiple Holes been here 6 months. Getting worse by the week. Requires swerving into opposite lane to avoid. Major accident with oncoming vehicle and wheel damage highly likely. Exacerbated by chronic failure to properly clear surface drains over protracted 2-3 period. These drains are now blocked deep inside and water / rubble washing down into village. Darins may well need digging out now to clear. Holes need fixing not just patching.

Drains need Clearing
15th December
The drains on Preston Road, from the bottom of the hill all the way down towards the factory need cleaning out. Each time we get heavy rain there is standing water due to the drains not being able to take the water. It's only a matter of time before it floods. This has been reported to the council but nothing ever gets done about it.

Water hazard on road
4th March
3 major water hazards within 500 yards. Multiple drains have been overflowing on Barkers Brow hill for some months even in modest rain and after rain has stopped for hours/days. Water that can be 2-3 inches deep cascades across entire road. Many drains are blocked, but combination of runoff from adjacent fields and track mean landowners drainage responsibilities are also not being enforced. Singage has been temporarily posted, but at night or in frost could be insufficient.
