Fly Tipping
17th June
Good afternoon,
Thank you for your response.
I would like to raise a few important points regarding the information provided:
Firstly, the email I received was unsigned and sent from a no-reply address, making it difficult to follow up or seek clarification.
Secondly, the assertion that the land in question may not belong to Preston City Council appears to be based on outdated mapping information. The map previously used to assess the location was marked incorrectly, but this issue has now been resolved. The land in question is adjacent to the substationnot part of itand has previously been cleared of fly tipping by Preston City Council.
To clarify further, the location is a layby that is maintained by Preston City Council, and not private property or under the substation operators responsibility.
As a resident, I am simply reporting an issue in good faith with the expectation that the Council will investigate and take the necessary steps. I do not believe it is reasonable or appropriate to be directed to chase utility companies when this is a matter of local environmental concernparticularly when I am paying council tax which contributes to these services.
I trust that this matter will now be looked into properly and the fly tipping addressed without further deflection.
Kind regards, Jacqueline Crook

Dangerous trailer dumped upright
21st May
Dangerous trailer dumped upright, two unroadworthy vehicles dumped in back alley along with paving stones and we know where they are from. Council cleaned it all up in 2018. Now preston council says it's environmental health who then say it's lancashire-news country council who then say it's the preston council. Police say the alley belongs to a car garage????!!!! We had drug gangs in 2018 who used the cars to hide drugs. Now we see rats huge ones in the alley too poss using the vehicles as nests.
