There is an obvious hole appearing on the edge of two drain grates at the end of Greendyke. One is bigger than the other, but both require repair otherwise the hole will increase in size. Also the grate may flip up and damage a vehicle if left to come loose

Most of flytipping in Green Dyke cleared

I am pleased to advise that Green Dyke between Church Lane and Green Dyke Farm has been cleared. There are a few bags and a container left between the farm and Bank House. I think the farmer may have done the cleanup, I know that he is very environmentally conscious.

Flytipping along GreenDyke
25th June
Somebody has been disposing of stuff along Green Dyke today. At least it wasnt there yesterday at 3 ish when I walked. There are black bin bags full of what looks like compostable material, flower pots, containers, some containing liquid and sort of potting trays. All seems to be related to horticulture. It it worst on the right between Church Way and Green Dyke Farm but a few on the left and a few between the farm and the Drain at the end. There is a piece of furniture, some sort of desk maybe.

The hedge obscures the speed limit sign which is so small that no one takes any notice of it some additional signage from this point towards Tydd st Giles would be of a great benefit as there is nothing to tell you you are in a 30mph zone also entering the village from Tyddst Giles no signage for speeding drivers ( a frequent and constant problem) even a drive carefully through our village might help please
