The passageway linking Newmarket Road to Penrith Avenue is constantly being used by motorcyclist that are both uninsured and involved in some form of criminality.It is by shear luck and coincidence that nobody has been knocked over and injured.Sick and tired of having to report the problem and sooner or later an innocent pedestrian maybe knocked over.Please will Tameside Council wake up and smell the coffee.The bollards on either side of the croft serve absolutely no purpose whatsoever and this passageway is used very often by people visiting the corner shop on Downing Street.Something needs to be done like the installation of pedestrian friendly barriers or clear signage to indicate prohibition of motorcycles on the pavement.

Road work sign dangerous due to wind

There is still a road closer sign on the entrance to jct 23 m60 from 14/05/2025
The sign is dangerously swaying due to the wind and isnt secure.
If the sign hits my car I will claim off the highways agency.
