Flytipping in back alleyway
8th June
The alleyway is severely affected by flytipping, containing numerous large items such as fridge freezers/ washing machine, and bed frames etc. Additionally, there is general rubbish overflowing from bins or incorrectly disposed of, contributing to significant build-up of waste, as others see the rubbish and decide to discard their items here too. It's been going on for over 6 months and it has been reported before. This presents a considerable eyesore and a hazard as there is a rat + maggot infestation because of the rubbish. We urge the council to arrange for the collection and disposal of all the discarded items as soon as possible.

Parking obstructing the footpath and dropped kerb
2nd June
There are 2 cars that park outside 33 Wallis Avenue that obstruct the footpath and park over the dropped kerb designed for wheelchairs and prams. The cars are also parked less than 10metres from a junction. I watched a man in a wheelchair have to leave the footpath, get onto Michael Faraday Ave to avoid the car. There are designated parking spaces at the rear of the properties.

Bed frames fridge freezers suitcases wheelie bins full of all the wrong rubbish now have rats and maggots crawling all over them. Old carpet thats been taken out of the houses.

At the bottom of Kiln Lane near the pedestrian crossing island is a pothole that hits the drivers side suspension. Avoiding the pothole puts drivers close to the crossing on left or right side of the lane.

Back garden full of metal and rubbish
30th April
Family of Romanians have started a scrap metal business from their back garden they have built a temporary building in the back garden with electricity running from the house. They have old fridge freezers stripped of the motors and old ovens and cookers. It started out as a few bikes but now its out of control he has a huge electric tricycle with 6ft long 4ft high trailer that he rides around collecting with. Its dangerous they have a young child with down syndrome that has been seen hitting a compressor with a hammer
