It is difficult to keep to lane on the A1/ A69 roundabout as the road markings are not visible. This means that vehicles drift into other lanes, increasing risk of collision for road users.

Traffic delays
24th March
There are no traffic lights on the section coming from Denton Burn onto the A69 to Hexham. This causes huge traffic delays up to the top of the west road. There are traffic lights on every other entry to the round about but not from Denton Burn to the A69. When the traffic is heavy, it doesnt allow for cars to enter the round about from Denton burn which backs up the traffic horrendously. Please can this been looked into

Grass torn up by vehicle

Van got stuck in grass due to weather and has unfortunately been destroyed when getting vehicle out. This was a result of police on duty responding to an incident.

Large cardboard box
with a postcode on in the middle of the carrigeway.
Cardboard box from a highchair in the middle lane of the carriageway. I had no room to manoeuvre either side without hitting an HGV in the left hand lane , or a line of cars in the fast lane. This has then damaged my car when I hit it at 55mph.

White lines

The white road markings on the Denton roundabout that crosses A1 with A69 are practically invisible. I have had a few near misses on this roundabout as you cannot see the lane markings, even worse in the dark. These markings need to be re-done or there will be a serious accident on that roundabout
