Cars consistently parking in restricted area and
18th April
Cars are consistently parking across the restricted white line area, completely obstructing the junction for both entering and exiting traffic. This is also causing significant lane restrictions at a major crossroads, creating safety hazards and disrupting the flow of traffic. Additionally, cars are regularly parking on Links Avenue far too close to the cornerwithin less than the 10-metre (32 feet) distance required by the Highway Codefurther reducing visibility and increasing risk for both drivers and pedestrians.

Crossing sequence allowed to be too frequent
8th April
This crossing causes huge amounts of avoidable congestion and delays at peak times as it is allowed to cycle too frequently. Pedestrians should wait at least 2 minutes between cycles to allow the traffic to flow more freely. This would cause a tiny inconvenience to pedestrians but would significantly reduce congestion.

Fly Tipping & drainage
5th April
On Friday 14th March a white van (seen on photo 2) on Regency Gardens/ Regency Terrace green patch tipped multiple bags of waste. I witnessed it from my kitchen window at 16.30, a stocky grey haired man in his 50's dumped it and drove away at speed. Suspect its gypsies, the coloured line on the back of the van is multiple rags hanging from the doors. Previously I made two reports of the waterlogged grass outside my kitchen window. It is now worse with enlarged pools of stagnant water. This needs repair, last summer I could not openm my windows for flies coming from the stagnant water which smells appalling.

Rubble on road
4th April
There is still a problem with rubble from the Robinsons Fields development site littering the cycle lanes on New York Way from Norham Rd to Billy Mill Lane and the section down Rake Lane past the Hospital. The carriageway has been swept except the cycle lanes which are covered in dirt and there are rocks that could cause injury in the cycle lanes either side. A small mechanical sweeper could rectify this. Also do they have a wheel wash on site?

Cycle Lane Connection
29th March
The New York Way/Billy Mill Lane cycle facilities are great as is the Coast Road Cycle Route. Are there any plans to connect them please? Its only about 700m along Billy Mill Lane from the roundabout to just south of St Thomas More School. The on road section along Cornhill Crescent is okay, but not sure what its like at school start and finish? There seems to be space to accommodate a route alongside the west side of Bill Mill Lane. Thanks

Cycle lanes full of debris from Rake Lane Housing development
29th March
There are large rocks and dirt in the on road cycle lanes in both directions on Rake Lane and New York Way from the new Roundabout by Robinson Fields all the way up to Norham Rd/New York Way roundabout opposite the Vauxhall garage and petrol station.
The site access is opposite Rake Lane Hospital. They appear to be mechanically sweeping the main carriageway but leaving the cycle lanes in a hazardous state. I saw a smaller mechanical sweeper doing the New York Way route so it is possible.

Sign needed
26th March
Holly Avenue is a convenient, low traffic and safer cycling route linking Park View to Marine Park (and on to Spanish City) but it is easily missed when riding out of town due to lack of signage.
There are two no entry signs facing traffic on Park View on approach to Holly Avenue turn (no entry to motor vehicles). One has an added Except cycles viewable to those travelling in to town, but those travelling in the other direction (out of town) cannot see the Except cycles notice. This needs adding so that it can be seen in both directions.
