The tunnel wall is crumbling

The right hand side of the tunnel wall, as you face Manchester with the train track to your right, is crumbling in large amounts, exposing the interior metal rod strengthener, this is occurring in several places, right across the wall and is severe in some places. This appears to be getting worse each week.

After the sewer burst last year the culvert in Prestwich Clough east of Buckley Lane is still blocked. this had led to flooding with the diluted sewage from the storm overflows feeding the clough, and pathway erosion from last year which still hasn't been repaired. Utilities are exposed.
