Parking Issues
24th May
I have been reporting issues for nearly 3 decades and never has the Police or the Council taken any action. Cars are parked illegally oten entirely on [avements, st corners, Zig Zaga on the Zebra Crossings, dropped kerbs, and with Eid set to fall on 6th or 7th of June 2025 there will be even more issues. Traffica Wardens and the Police have taold me that they have been told to lay of Muslim celebrations. They dont do the same on any other religious clebrations so why are the Muslims allowed a free pass? It is dangersous illegal.

Parking across or near corner of junction

Car are parking across dropped kerbs and whilst there is double yellow lines all too short which terminate where the giveway lines are not one single ticket or traffic warden has ever issued or been seen there. With Eid upon us on the 6th or 7th of June parking will be manic, which we were told would not be a problem.But clearly this was a lie!

Double yellow line boundarie/width across drive
7th May
The council kindly pained over the double yellow lines which was needed and greatly appreciated but having requested twice before they were repainted over recently I was wondering if they could just carry on to the line just to the other side of the drain.
This is becuase when people park right up to the boundary and the wheel is on the drain if they have a particularly large boot that protrudes over the boundary it makes it incredibly difficult to get in and out and also blocks the drain with the car which is another negative, there has been blockages there in the past as its in quite a critical position, the water can creep up the drive if theres an issue with it.
If for any reason it could be extended it would incredibly helpful thank you

Very Noisy Manhole Cover

Manhole cover outside apartment building that causes a very loud sound when driven over - the road is busy so it happens multiple times a minute and is audible even with windows closed in the apartments.

Illegal car repairs on street/pavement
27th April
There is a person repairing cars every weekend illegally. This is a quiet cul de sac with limited parking and they are a nuisance turning this street into a garage some weekdays and most weekends. There are huge oil stains on the pavement and nothing is done to clean it, they are also selling cars illegally advertising their cars on social media.

Ongoing Fly-tipping and Safety Hazard
24th April
Repeated fly-tipping outside my garage, which faces Herschell Street. This time, a broken wooden garden gate with long, sharp nails was dumped posing a serious danger to pedestrians at night.
This has happened several times before (mattresses, toilets, old doors, etc). Please investigate and consider installing a CCTV camera in this area to stop the recurring fly-tipping.

Main round about near St George's retail Park in Leicester is in poor condition as the lane marking hasn't been re painted since long time
