Delivery drivers abusing the parking bays
23rd June
Daily multiple spaces are taken up by mopeds waiting to collect orders. All of which do not abide by the parking restrictions, returning to the spaces without abiding by the max stay times and no return times. They are now parking in the disabled bays, refusing to move when people are trying to park in them. Parking enforcement never ticket them

Daily breach of parking restrictions
23rd June
The new double yellow lines have not deterred parents/local people from parking on them, causing poor visibility for the parents and children using this road. The parking enforcement team won't send out a warden to this area, which for a spell helped deter people from parking on the lines. They have said to contact surrey highways if this is an ongoing issue for this area. The parking issue has now extended to people parking on the double lines at the junction on portmore park road, meaning those turning out are not able to safely see oncoming vehicles. A visit from 8.30 to 9 am and 3pm to 3.30pm over a week would show the issue

Request for hidden junction sign at Trelawney/Elgin junction
23rd June
As you can see from my photos, when driving it is impossible to exit the junction at Trelawney Grove and Elgin Road safely due to the blind spot. This problem has existed for too long and my concern is that it will result in a serious accident. There have already been several accidents the most recently at the end of May. I am aware of proposed speed calming measures and I am requesting that the existing SLOW road marking on Elgin road should be renewed. I am also requesting additional signage on the approach to advise drivers to slow down and to warn them of a hidden junction. Thank you.

SLOW road marking on Elgin Road faded
23rd June
As Elgin Road is a fast rat run it is vital that the SLOW road marking is renewed, it is faded beyond recognition when cars go at speed. This has been reported in the past and has degraded severely since. This directly effects the blind spot on the junction with Elgin Road. Many thanks

Hedge & Soil diminishing pavement width
23rd June
The eastern public footpath on New Haw Road at the boundary of Blue Diamond Garden Centre in places is now reduced to a single file pedestrian width , this creates a hazard to pushchairs , mobility scooters & dog walkers . it needs a radical cut back of vegetation & removal of accumulated soil (arising in the main from the road traffic) to give a safe width , the projecting wing mirrors on commercial vehicles add to the hazard

Dangerous parking on Elgin Road
23rd June
Unrestricted weekend and evening parking on Elgin Road is increasingly resulting in chaos. This weekend we experienced impeded traffic, with cars queuing for most of Saturday. There is absolutely no way an emergency vehicle could have passed.
Coupled with cars speeding to take advantage of Elgin Road being a rat run, and one suspects its only a function of time before there is a serious accident.
SCC and EBC have been advised about the problem on numerous occasions. Time for action, please.

Request for mirror on junction of Elgin Road and Trelawney Grove
22nd June
The exit from Trelawney Grove on to Elgin Road is dangerous. Cars coming along from the right are too fast and view to the right from Trelawney Grove is blind to traffic coming from the right. A mirror would help.

Danger coming out of trelawney grove onto elgin road
22nd June
It is quasi impossible to see incoming traffic (coming from the right) when we exit trelawney grove onto elgin road...for years one of our neighbours has asked for the council to put a mirror at the corner of trelawney grove and elgin road...this was never implemented...recently there has been report of a minor accident. How long will the council wait before there is a major accident at the corner of trelawney grove and elgin road? maybe there is another solution but something needs to be done about this before there is a major accident. many thanks.

Parked cars along Elgin Road
22nd June
Since a new church has been active along Heath Road, for about 6 months, multiple cars have been parking along the length of Elgin Road making the road essentially single file and causing traffic to build up. Cars have been parking directly opposite Trelawney Grove making an already difficult exit onto Elgin Road even more dangerous. There has also been dangerous manoeuvres from the parked cars trying to do three point turns on Elgin Road to leave in the opposite direction to how they are parked.

Request for mirror on Elgin road to allow safe exit from Trelawney Grove.
22nd June
Mirror to be added to the road directly across from the exit to Trelawney grove onto Elgin road. We have had numerous near misses as when to exit you do not get enough time before a car is upon you. Appreciate that there are discussions regarding speed calming measures on Elgin road however regardless this is still a blind junction when exiting. Its only luck that we have not had a bad accident.
