Tree in River Lark
2nd June
A tree fell in the River Lark in 2022. Debris, vegetation, dead birds, tins, bottles etc are trapped behind it. This could reduce water flow and lead to local flooding after prolonged periods of heavy rain.

Huge pothole which has been here for some time
11th February
The road is quite narrow so due to oncoming traffic I hit the pothole at approx 30 miles per hour resulting in an immediate flat tyre. The tyre had been purchased just 5 days and was not repairable so very annoyed. Had to be recovered by AA.

Broken verge now crumbling the road surface
12th November
Jarman's Lane is used by very large trucks and tractors, the road was not designed or constructed to take these wide loads on a narrow country lane The side of the road was not constructed properly with kerb stones Therefore, over time the large vehicles have encroached on the verge resulting in it breaking down. The side of the road is crumbling There is not a pot 'hole' as such but several yards of broken tarmac This is extremely dangerous because vehicles are now having to drive even closer to the middle of the road to avoid the broken sides Bicycles will be forced to pedal through the ruts when oncoming traffic forces them to the left side There is no pedestrian path. Therefore, parents with pushchairs also have to use this road and the reported issue is on a blind bend This is an accident waiting to happen and the damage is getting worse with every vehicle, every rainfall, every frost.

"temporary" traffic lights
27th June
"Temporary" traffic lights have been installed long before early June I suspect. I saw NO work by anyone or saw any work vehicles until just over a week ago. I do not believe these traffic lights are necessary whatsoever and they just CAUSE gridlocks/tailbacks in traffic! Please remove the lights. One morning took me 40 mins to get through with the tailback stretching to Mildenhall Air Base! Never mind the extra pollution its creating with static vehicles waiting. There really is NO benefit of having these lights in operation. Please address asap.

Sign too close to "T" junction
11th December
This "Give Way" sign is far too close to the "T" junction it serves It is also covered in vegetation Motorists who are unfamiliar with the area, and during inclement weather, this is a safety concern. Motorists are disorientated because of the lights from RAF Mildenhall and there is an illusion that the road continues in a straight forward direction. When in fact it is a busy "T" junction and they should Give Way.
Too many vehicles have had cause to brake sharply and end up directly ahead in the farmer's field. An accident waiting to happen
Recommend the "Give Way" sign be re-positioned further back allowing sufficient reaction distance
