A series of large and deep potholes on Luxborough Lane
4th December
There are several deep potholes on Luxborough Lane which mean that cars are required to swerve around them, and are so dangerous that I now no longer cycle my children to school. They have been there and worsening for several months. This road serves a school and a nursery and there is no other way to get to either location.

On Arrowsmith road there are vans that are parked on the road instead of parking half of their van on the pavement
2nd December
Subject: Complaint Regarding Unsafe Parking of vans
I am writing to raise concerns about the ongoing issue of vans being parked fully on the road in Arrowsmith road IG7 4PF rather than partially on the pavement as expected. This practice has made the road increasingly narrow, posing significant safety risks for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians.
The reduced width of the road creates challenges for vehicles to pass safely, especially larger vehicles like emergency services. It also forces pedestrians closer to moving traffic, increasing the likelihood of accidents.
While I understand that pavement parking can be contentious, balancing accessibility and road safety is essential. The current situation is neither practical nor safe for road users and residents.
I kindly request that the council investigates this matter and enforces appropriate parking regulations to ensure safer and more practical use of the road. Introducing clearer signage or guidance for van owners may also help mitigate the issue.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response and any updates on the steps that will be taken to resolve this issue.
Yours sincerely, Anonymous
