Entire stretch of Southbank Road
from Aylestone Hill to Bodenham Road
Over the last 5 years(!!), this stretch of Southbank Road, from Aylestone Hill to Bodenham Road, has been allowed to fall into a state of disrepair. I have reported the situation many times. Please can BB resurface this section ASAP. It is surely one of the worst stretches in the city.

Uneven surface

I live in the adjacent street to the uneven surface. The uneven surface causes larger vehicles, especially empty lorries, to rattle loudly. This happens at all times of the day & night and needs to be resolved. I can see an initial complaint was made in May 2023 by an home owner in the street before me. This has therefore been an ongoing issue for 2 years, at least.

The footpath has had loose stone laid on it. The crushed stone is too large causing an unsafe surface to walk on. People are walking on the grass because its so dangerous.
