Slippery moss on pavement
2nd June
Water seeping on pavement hence a lot of moss and in the winter its icy making it very slippery. Affinity water have checked it out and said its not a leaking pipe but its ground water but its really dangerous as it is on a slope as well so if anyone slips it could be really bad. Also reported it to the council and they said its not their area its the highways responsibility

Large spill of fresh concrete on the newly laid road
29th May
Concrete spilled from back of a concrete wagon onto the road. It was not there at 0630hrs this morning but seen at 1830hrs this evening. Perhaps local cctv of concrete wagons going up from the high street and turning right onto plough hill.
It's a very dry mix so could be shoveled up and cleared with little effort, but a hazard for all road users

Rubbish dumped beside Barclays Bank Cuffley
19th May
It seems to have become common practice to leave rubbish on the pavement beside what used to be Barclays Bank at the north end of Theobalds Road Cuffley. This area is rarely clear of rubbish and, because it's in bags and not in a bin, it is usually spread around the area by birds and animals. It's not difficult to work out who is doing it, it's not acceptable, and should be subject to fines.

Large trip hazards in Lambs Close Cuffley
19th May
There is a large tree adjacent to the pavement between the entrance to The Brooks and the small lay-by in Lambs Close Cuffley. It has now got to the stage where it is breaking up the pavement and there are two large trip hazards across the width of the pavement adjacent to the tree. It is my opinion that the tree is far too large for the position that it is in and, if it remains, it can only do further damage to the pavement.

Obscured street light
19th May
Somewhere in the foliage shown, in Lambs Close Cuffley, is a street light. It's output is completely obscured by foliage. It is on the west side of Lambs Close, opposite the North end of the large lay-by. Lambs Close is not particularly well lit and this situation makes it worse. Residence, particularly women, complain about it being dark and, after the recent stabbing and subsequent death in the Close, they are even more apprehensive about moving around during the hours of darkness.

Section of safety railing missing
19th May
There is a section of safety railing missing from the edge of the payment adjacent to the pedestrian exit from the Tesco Express in Station Road Cuffley. The safety rating was provided to stop customers, especially children, running directly into the road from the exit from the store . At some stage this section has been removed, and not replaced. It should be a priority to prevent children running into the road . The railing was provided by Tesco during the initial development and should be replaced by them to safeguard both their customers and their reputation.

Roadway dangerous
surface uneven
The roadway in Newgate Street is one of the worst roads I have to drive on, it is a reasonably busy road taking traffic from Goffs Oak to Hertford. The surface is full of potholes and is very uneven, some vehicles have been damaged because of the condition. There is also a steady stream of water running along the route. The issue has been like it for 4-5 years!!
