Croft way residents unable to get to there houses due to no yellow lines
30th July
I am writing to express ongoing concerns regarding the parking situation on the narrow road leading to Baxley.
Residents have been experiencing severe difficulties for over a year due to vehicles being parked along this narrow stretch. As shown in the attached image, parked cars restrict access to the point where the road becomes virtually impassable for larger vehicles or when two cars meet.
Despite repeated complaints and assurances that a meeting would be held to address the matter, no action has been taken. In the meantime, local residents continue to suffer on a weekly basis.
We are once again requesting that yellow lines be painted along the road to prevent parking where the width is insufficient. The current situation poses a risk not only to traffic flow but also to emergency access and general safety.
We would appreciate an urgent update on when action will finally be taken.

Tree Needs Pruning
30th July
Despite my previous report being marked as fixed, this issue has not been fixed at all. The tree surgeons were in my street last week but did not touch this tree at all. Please can you fix it. The tree now overhangs my drive so my bins, wall, driveway and car are now covered in bird droppings. It is constantly shedding large twigs that land on my car and drive. It is also growing around the fibre broadband cables to mine and neighbouring properties. I would appreciate it if you could action the pruning asap please. To be clear, I dont want the tree completely felled, as the trees in the street look good, just a significant pruning please.

Constant Dog Fouling on residential road

There is repeated dog fouling happening on Lincoln Road. Large amounts are being left in the pavement outside various houses, it seems to be either at night or early hours of the morning. Has been outside number 8, 6, 4 and other houses over the past few months.

Rocky and uneven paving
30th July
This problem has been reported recently, a lady tripped yesterday, luckily she was unhurt but could have been. These paving stones are an accident waiting to happen, they rock, are uneven and a trip hazard. Next time someone trips they may not be so lucky.

161 Blendon Rd The Local - front extension of shop
29th July
161 Blendon Road The Local Off-licence has installed a raised concrete area on the footpath and sectioned the area off. Covered it with a plastic canopy and are trading from within this area. Is this legal? Doesn't this require planning permission? Also for YEARS they have suitated their big red BIFFA bin outside on the footpath. And there are also pallets left up against the pedestrian railings. This area looks a mess and creates a hazard to the public especially those with disabilities and the bin a potential environmental hazard.

The pavement slabs at the junction of Hadlow Road and the High Street are cracked
badly repaired and noisy when driven over. I suggest they are removed and replaced with an asphalt surface.
The removed slabs could be used to repair the pavement in the High Street that has many unsightly repairs made of asphalt. The same issues occur at the junction of Hatherly Road and the High Street. Some of the repairs on the High Street are trip hazards as they have been done badly.
