Defective gulleys on Hackwell Street
17th June
The workmen have just having applied tarmac to the edge of a gulley.
They have poured some tarmac into the gulley so that it is probably now blocked.
They have failed to fix an adjacent gulley that was clearly marked for repair.
We have waited months for these problems to be fixed so that vehicles no longer swerve to avoid the potholes. What a disappointment!

Verges on Shuckburgh road Napton on hill are really difficult for pedestrians to walk along
1st September
Verges either side of Shuckburgh road are difficult for pedestrians to walk along from marina -as the marina now has residential status now and more people are without cars /elderly that need to catch bus from kings head its quite a busy road if the verges were cut it would make it safer for both pedestrians and road users

Ridiculous off road parking
18th August
The layby on Southam Road has become overrun and people are starting to take the mick now. This offroad hedge parking is not acceptable on the A425, especially since no one does 30mph through this village. There is a grass verge outside of 'The Orchard' which people have began parking on too and soon the whole street will become off road parking. The layby itself is not safe as it renders residents blind when pulling out onto the road.

School traffic
8th May
School traffic down Jackson lane everyday, people struggling to get off there own drive ways, parking both sides of the street so other vehicles cant get down the road, parking in front of drive ways, emergency vehicles cant get down the road if needed, parking on the corner of the road, all across the stop of the street even in front of the bollards put in and the top of the road traffic like buses etc cant get through and when parents are asked to move there cars nicely so we can leave the street or our drives they become abusive and rude and refuse to move until there child is collected which has made residents late for medical appointments, work etc

Grass verge deterioration due to vehicle use
9th January
The grass bank/verge outside between Little Cottage and Milestone Cottage on Southam Road is deteriorating quite quickly due to a vehicle using it for access to an illegal driveway.
There is no drop curb, therefore the vehicles should not be there or be driving over a public footpath.
I feel unsafe walking there as the pavement and grass verge is uneven. This issue was raised back in 2019 and I am not sure of its outcome.
Thanks

Street lamp cut down
4th January
Street lamp was cut down 6/8 weeks ago. No contact from Napton parish council, no notice on what remains. Massive security and safety issue for us and our neighbours. Really unhappy about the lack of communication over this too.
