Workers were here Monday Im not sure who but a cable inspection box has been left open all week with a 3 sided frame around it but one side open allowing a person or animal to fall in, I think its just been forgotten about but could be an accident waiting to happen

Cones and cement blocks lane closure remain on southbound carriageway

Accident that required lane closure for safety barrier repair happened in December 2024. Work was eventually carried out, so it seems, yet, the lane closure is still there, 7 months later! What's the explanation for this continued restriction causing unecessary additional traffic delays at peak times?

Hedge Cutting
5th July
Absolutely shocked to find that hedges at the end and along length of Rocky Lane were cut back by the contractor cutting verges in the area. The contractor has also cut the verges along the length of Rocky Lane going towards the bypass. Both operations have left large amounts of debris on the old road which is now a footpath. This old roadway was only swept last week.

Pavement blocked by overhanging hedge
23rd June
The hedge belongs to No32 Rouncil lane, but is the side boundary to Mortimer Road. This has been reported in previous years. Even when cut back, it was not to the boundary. This is worsened, as the edge to the verge should be grass, but is stepped to the tarmac as this resident used it for parking of construction vehicles, when extending the rear of the property earlier this year. This is difficult to navigate with pushchairs and mobility spotters as the hedge pushes you to walk on the grass, where the step creates an ankle turning risk.

Hello, I am completely gobsmacked that the council have given permission for a whole estate of houses without any pavement to allow people to get to town, forcing them to use their cars. How are people that live on this Thomas Bates housing development genuinely meant to get into town on foot? I keep seeing children trying to cross the road which is far too fast for pedestrians to be crossing on And last week saw an elderly woman with shopping bags walking on the verge and stepping into the road as it is so narrow!! Can you help get an answer as to why this is allowed, please?

On A46, near the exit towards Warwick, there is an worksite, closed lane, from the beginning of the year. A bridge fence issue. No work done until last month. The wark was complete but the lane closure still in place. No work done (completed anyway ), no workers present.

Blocked drain
defective grate
The underground drainage pipe that links Grate 1 with Grate 2 is blocked. Grate 1 has also failed.
Sandy Lane is on a hill, when it rains all the water collected from higher up the road flows down the hill in the drains but then exits Grate 1 and spills into the road. It then flows overground down the road until it meets Grate 2.
Please can you unblock the pipe between Grate 1 and Grate 2, and replace Grate 1. Thanks.
