Flytipping
29th April
Waste has been dumped here weeks and week ago. It has been reported on numerous occasions, but nothing has been done about it. By not acting you are effectively encouraging more flytipping in the location.

Flytipping on Popehill Lane
26th April
This has now been here for two months, its starting to attract litter from cars parked in layby. Rubbish looks like it includes asbestos sheeting. This is now unacceptable and needs to be removed please. This is an area of outstanding beauty, not a rubbish tip

Flytipping on Popehill Lane near Draycote
21st March
This rubbish was dumped here about 3 weeks ago, neighbours reported the problem on the council website, but no action has yet been taken. Our experience is that when flytipping has been reported in the past, it is cleared away very promptly, this has not been the case with this one, it is a real eyesore, unsanitary and a nuisance in what is a very pretty area of farmland and village approach

White line on side of the road has not been repainted following resurfacing
4th February
An HGV truck went off the side of the road (B4453 Straight Mile) on 3rd February 2025 ending up on its side in the ditch. At the point where the incident occurred, there were no white lines indicating the edge of the road, following resurfacing. This could have contributed to the incident.

11th April
A cement lorry crashed into the ditch and when recovered a large amount of plastic cement sacks were left at scene and were not recovered. The police were called to this incident so no doubt the company responsible should be responsible for the clean up.
