Badly damaged verges
1st March
The contractor or farmer who trimmed the hedge all along Bow Lane did so in the wettest weather using the heaviest tractor and has badly damaged the verges all down the lane. This is further damaged by the huge tractors from Brinklow Biogas who are way too big for this little lane and are spreading mud from the verges into the road. This has been worsening since the hedge cutting and is not just ruining the beautiful countryside, but creating treacherous driving conditions in the lane. It is too dangerous or difficult to pass other vehicles here without getting stuck in deep mud. In 5 years of living here we have never had this problem.
