Overgrown footpath blocking access
19th July
Footpath keeps getting overgrown and they occasionally strim it back.
It needs cutting back and the pathway scraping properly of the soil spilling through so dog owners stop leaving dog mess in the growth and the full width of the path can be used.
Its a struggle getting down with a pushchair now.

Potential sink hole developing
17th July
There is an existing road width repair from previous road works. However on the southbound side near to the kerb there is a hole about 15cm in diameter formed where the tarmac has dropped. As you look into the hole that's formed there is nothing visible under the previous repair as if it's sunk for at least 30 to 40 cm. Anything heavy driving over that could cause it to just to collapse and cause a large depression. Potential expensive claim should a vehicle get damaged.

A pile of unwanted items/rubbish has been abandoned on shearing crescent. No one has taken ownership of the rubbish and may have been potentially abandoned by an old resident who has moved away.
The pile has been there for roughly 2 weeks and additional items have now been added to it.

Bus stop in shawe ave needs re siting to where it originally was

The bus stop in shawe ave needs re siting to just round corner onto main road where it was originally as no buses go into shawe ave/castle road any more. you have to get off between chippy and one stop or after club. oap's and people with push chairs have to wait on bus till it comes back round to glenfield to save a good walk. what makes it stupid is there is a stop at end of glenfield and one within 30 m on main road. 1 man, a spanner and 15 min work and the problem would be solved

The bridge is very over grown with brambles and bushes. The stream bank is the same. It is a hazard for adults and children. It is a regular issue.

Public path/bridge and bank over grown.
15th July
The bridge, which is a public path is overgrown with weeds, bushes, brambles and stinging nettles. Children and adults are catching their legs in the brambles. The stream back is overgrown grown as will be a flooding risk. This keeps being a regular occurrence and is not regularly maintained.

Narrow footpath overgrown with vegetation

The narrow footpath leading up to the weddings railway walk has become overgrown due to no maintenance being carried out. Hawthorn and bramble are now at face height putting members of public in danger of injuring them selves. What are you the council going to do about it?

Overgrown foliage along with scaffolding pole in front of culvert.

There has been no maintenance either side of Changebrook for 2 years which has now resulted in dense foliage all along the brook and in front of the culvert. A scaffolding pole has fallen into the brook and another one placed across the brook is also at risk of falling into it.

Accident prone blind spot
5th June
Accident prone zone, a lot of vehicles fail to yield on the round about as they carry too much speed from straight coming from Atherstone. All Mira employees are concerned. I got my car written off last week in the same spot, air bags went off as well.
Traffic calming measures are necessary please.

Accident as MIRA employee turned right in MIRA and a vehicle hit him coming up the A5 from Atherstone direction. Side airbags were activated on his vehicle. Second accident in two months that I know of.

Rats

Since the building work commencing nearby on Lower farm, the St James Gate estate has been overrun by rats. Constantly seeing them around the estate. There is no masses of overflowing rubbish attracting them to here they are coming here because they are being unsettled from their previous nesting sites.

Grass not been cut again

Section of grass on right hand side at coronation walk has not been cut for over two weeks. If my dogs goes the toilet on that side its hard to pick up their dog mess when in long grass.

View when exiting from the Chestnuts Club Obscured and dangerous.

Branches are sprouting form the base of the trees on the grass verge on Old Hinckley Road. They are now so bad that the view for drivers exiting the Chestnuts club is completely obscured from drivers view.
