Constant parking on double yellow lines

Cars are consistently parked on double yellow lines on Park Place Street, Margate, blocking pavements, garages, and entrances to homes. This causes serious inconvenience for residents, with garages often obstructed and access to properties restricted. It also forces pedestrians, including those with mobility issues and parents with prams, to walk on the road, creating a safety hazard. The issue has been getting progressively worse, and action is needed to address this problem through regular enforcement.

Traffic going up one way street around road closed sign
8th October
The double lane road that goes past the church and right lane going towards under the bridge. The traffic coming up from victoria traffic lights are going round the road closed sign under the bridge and up the one street. I nearly crashed into a car coming up round the corner and there was two more cars behind. Think there needs to be clearer diversion signs or anything else to stop crash happening.

Car has been abandoned and left to rot

This Bulgarian registered ex-uk Mercedes clk has been abandoned and is clearly taking a toll on its condition. Its been here for about a year now and will not leave, it used to be parked at a gas station nearish birchington the back window is smashed as well and the paint is tearing. There was a note a while back saying it was involved in a crime.

Public footpath behind 170-178 High Street in bad order
25th August
The footpath is very uneven. I have an elderly mum who may need to come to live with us - she may need access around the back as that is the only level in the house where I have a kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. I'm concerned about the state of the footpath which hasn't had any repair or maintenance in all the time I have lived at 170 High Street.

Pedestrian crossing hutton not working on South side

The busy pedestrian crossing cannot be activated from the South East side as the button does not function. This is very dangerous as the crossing is just after a bend.

Broken drain cover in middle of the road that makes a clunking noise every time a car goes over it

This is a very busy main road and everytime a vehicle goes over this drain cover in the middle of the road it makes a load clunking noise.

Stone sticking out of the side of the road
23rd February
Driving from the traffic lights (harts down end) on the left hand side I was going towards Westwood Cross. A wider vehicle was coming the other way so I had to pull in to let them get passed without any collision. Turns out there's a stone sticking out of the side of the road which penetrated my tyre and cause me to have to get a new one fitted. I managed to get myself to safety and then had to call AA out who then took me to a garage and had to have a new tyre fitted.

Anti social behaviour drugs drug dealing

Big problem with anti social behaviour and drugs especially the propertys that riverside housing run but to be fair the whole street and surrounding areas I have and others have made untold reports but still living with it nothing seems to be happening and reports have been made to Kent police and Thanet District council its affecting many peoples lives people are at breaking point
