The entire length of Stidham Lane is becoming very overgrown. We run large vehicles up and down this road multiple times a day. The over grown hedges are making it difficult to clearly see oncoming traffic and they are obstructing the mirrors when the need to reverse arises. Is it possible to get them cut back please?

Dead Tree Shedding brances onto the road. Pict 1 shows pieces of a branch I removed from the road apparently driven over and Pict 2 shows the dead tree. I assume there is the likelyhood of injury or damage caused by further branches falling or worse still, the tree falling onto a pedestrian, cyclist or a vehicle.

Previously reported Council ref: 5552755 ( and numerous times over many years).yet email received yesterday10/6/25 12:02 stating now resolved? First heavy rain and the carriageway is again covered in flowing water. Pict 1 shows blocked drain, taken from a distance as Picts 2&3 show spray from passing lorries spreading up and over footway.

No.1 Homestead

The pavement outside no.1 is obstructed forcing pedestrians with pushchairs and mobility walkers to walk in the road. There is a lampost in there somewhere so the lighting effect on the road and pavement is reduced at night making the road darker at night, wasting the taxpayer money in trying to light an overgrown hedge and not the road. This was reported in June last year but nothing happened as can be seen by the dense overgrowth still blocking the pavement.

Overgrowth hanging over pavement
10th June
The path on the north side of the A4, between Keynsham and Saltford is partially obstructed by the over grown hedge running along side it. It is particularly bad where the path runs along the lay by between the Esso garage and Broadlease Nurseries and again between Broadlease Nurseries and 321 Bath Road.
This path is used a lot by pedestrians from Keynsham walking to the farm shop and by pedestrians from Saltford walking to Waitrose. This o er growth is becoming a hazard forcing pedestrians off the path and onto the layby.

Cracked overhanging tree branches from Manor Rd Community Woodland

Tree branches which have grown from Manor Rd community woodland are overhanging Courtenay Rd. Larger vehicles along Courtenay Rd have hit them and some are now cracked and in danger of falling. This is from the entrance to the community wood on Courtenay Rd by the houses to the pedestrian entrance further along the lane.
