Been here for a couple of months. Got so bad that cars are using the other side of the road rather than hurt their suspension / or slowing down Cars coming down the hill are unsighted of cars on wrong side. Likely to cause a serious accident

Raised drain

29th April

There is a massive raised drain on the corner of Kipling Road that has been there for over 2 years. If you are turning left out of Kipling Road because of how people are parked on Tennyson Road you will catch the car on it. Also When driving down Tennyson Road again due to how people park you have to swerve to avoid it. I've contacted the council before and they have said that its 'not bad enough to be fixed'. My car has had damaged caused by this.

Wind causing litter from recycling

North Somerset council are one of the few councils in the UK to sort their own recycling out as opposed to sending it away for others to do, this is fantastic. Could someone please confirm why the recycling operatives will not clean up the rubbish that is blown about when the conditions allow, some of us are trying to help with the environmental catastrophe and having refused staff who are rather unhelpful does not help, also surely putting the bins back inside the garden to free up the space on the public footpath should be mandatory.

Blocked pavement

9th April

The owner of 10 Quantock Road habitually parks her car on the pavement too close to the driveway of nos. 8A , 10A , 12A and the garages. This restricts drivers ability to access their properties. She also leaves a row of black bins on the pavement. This prevents parents with pushchairs and disabled persons in wheelchairs from using the pavement. I have seen them have to use the road instead of. Several neighbours have tried to approach this woman to explain the problem but are met with aggressive responses. Please can the council help us with this issue?

This car parked fully on the pavement for more than 1 5 hours. It forced pedestrian to walk on the road and blocked any wheelchairs or mobility scooters. The occupant was wearing a high Viz jacket.

ignorant

The scaffolders that are being employed to carry out the works on Bournville Road are being unbelievably rude, ignorant and abusive to members of the public. One gentleman had asked if they should be working on a Sunday, to which he was met with a torrential of verbal abuse. This is completely unacceptable and requires investigation as the public/operator along with public/plant and public/working platform interfaces are by no means acceptable. I would also be curious as to know whether the contractor is working to the agreed and approved CPP (Construction Phase Plan) and RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statement) if they are failing this then this is a grave Non Compliance of any contract?
