Man charged with manslaughter after assault in Keighley
A man has been charged with manslaughter after another man who was assaulted a week ago died in hospital. Daniel Illingworth, 34, died following the assault on Bridge Street in Keighley in the early hours of 7 March. Joseph Smith, 39, of Carlby Grove, was initially charged with assault causing grievous bodily harm. Following Mr Illingworth's death, Mr Smith was charged with manslaughter and was due before Leeds magistrates on Saturday.
