Rain water forms into a deep pool on the main road at the front of The Malt Kiln at the point where the water meters are located. The water then runs down the private road towards the houses and increases the risk of ingress into the houses, which have flooded twice since 2002. This problem has worsened in recent years. Rain water pooling, 9th November
At the entrance to The Malt Kiln YO86EF water pools after heavy rainfall has done so for several years. The situation has worsened and recently Waterville began to flow down the private access road towards the houses which have a history of flooding. There is no visible drain and the houses are at increased risk of water ingress. I will provide photos if requested.

Vehicle parked on footpath and road in entrance to oxen lane causing problems for cars entering oxen lane when cars are trying to exit . Footpath on other side of road is very narrow and not wide enough for pushchairs or wheelchairs, inconsiderate vehicle owner needs a slap

Overgrown trees blocking streetlight, 8th May
For over a year the trees and shrubs along the edge of the snicketway have been overgrown and block the streetlight. The shrubs have actually become trees as they have never been cut back. They now encroach on the footpath but most importantly block out the light that is supposed to light the whole snicketway.

Overgrown trees blocking streetlight, 15th May
The conifers from the farm and hawthorn from the opposite side are so overgrown they are almost meeting and will soon create a 'tunnel'. This blocks the lighting at night on to the path down the snicket between Main Street and The Shrubberies.

Private driveway being used to access neighbouring properties, 8th April
Delivery drivers are using our private driveway to access neighbouring properties at Rose Lodge and Waterside Lodge instead of using their own driveway which is accessed off the A163 Market Weighton Road. I believe one of the causes is that sat navs are erroneously sending them through our property.

Dog fouling around the village, 4th January
There has been a significant increase in the amount of dog fouling over the last few weeks particularly on the grass down the snicket between The Shrubberies and Main Street. There are also incidents along the pavement on Main Street (towards Hull Road) and on The Shrubberies.
