I reported flytipping at this place on both sides of the road earlier this month. It has not been removed and now there is more added to the existing mess.

Plastic flytipped, 17th January
Since yesterday several 3/4 metre lengths of white plastic have been dumped on the roadside alongside what seems to be guttering although some of that has been run over by cars and is spread along the road. There is a definite increase in flytipping in this area

Grass verges, traffic visibility, 1st June
The grass verges on the windy stretch of Long Lane leading to the public footpath to Cawood has been allowed to grow causing poor visibility. There is danger to traffic and walkers as well as some flooding during heavy bouts of rain. This has been cut in recent years but not in the last two years.

Verges covered in litter, 5th February
All the way along Flaxley Road where it leaves town and through to the Dam Bridge at Thorpe Willoughby, the verges and dykes are full of discarded litter being mainly plastic Take Away food and drink containers. In fact it occurs on most of the country lanes. It appears that this (country side) litter is never picked up, whereas there are litter pickers in Selby town itself. Could a "litter-pick" be arranged please.

Recycle box, 30th March
Our glass recycle box has not been emptied, all the other houses on Wistow Road have had theirs emptied. We currently do not have any council recycle boxes as the old lady who lived here could not manage them so non were left. We use a clean plastic box and it is placed at the end of the drive in view from the road where the dustbins are left and emptied every fortnight.
