Large potholes on road again. Flooded at start of lane means you canjot see where potholes are at that point. Some potholes have recently been filled in but the road is already crumbling opposite the house on the corner and further large potholes are appearing all the way down the road. Having to drive on grass verge to avoid some of them. Damage to car tyres have happened on more than one occasion. Disabled parents unable to drive their small car down the road again at the moment.

LARGE & DEEP potholes, 12th February
Large & Deep potholes on length of Ox Pasture Lane. Heavy HGV traffic at Pheasant Farm at bottom is making road crumble. Damage to cars is happening on number of occasions. Road has been made better in places but there a few LARGE potholes in middle of road.

Brambles blocking stile access, 21st October
Stile difficult to cross due to brambles and uncut hedge blocking the way.

Broken stile, waymarker and inaccessible path, 21st October
Public footpath access from the bridleway has been neglected to the extent that it is now impossible to get through the undergrowth. We walked it from the river other end and it also becomes inaccessible after you climb the hill and come to a fence, with bramble and trees blocking your way. Waymarker has also been knocked over, making it hard to find. Visiting the area so I cannot say how long it's been like this, but from the amount of undergrowth I would guess at least 6 months

Re sign hard to see, 20th June
The sign unsuitable for motor vehicles is almost hidden and hard to read perhaps because it is just on the bend on the left. It could do with more visibility and perhaps a reference to gated road ahead. Cars do not see the not suitable for motor vehicles sign and have to turn around at the end of the track.

Sign fallen down on sharp bend, 20th June
The road into Hawnby has a bend with high sides and low visibility which has nearly caused several accidents. The bend sign has fallen down. It would be good to put this back up perhaps with a caution or slow sign and a 2 way mirror. Cars coming into the village, particularly when they are not local, and delivery vans come down very fast and you do not see them until they are right ontop of oncoming cars.

Dangerous verge, 20th June
The verge has collapsed into the beck on a bend and it is dangerous for driving. It has not been mended since 2005 and will cause an accident one day.
