Antisocial behaviour, 25th March
Occupier has a rally car in his front garden (not a problem) however in the weekend before a rally he is reving his engine for hours. He and his father speed up and down our quiet cul-de-sac. They exceed the speed limit. Cars are parked blocking the footpath which restricts safe access for elderly and infirm residents.

Lamp damaged by fallen tree in July 2021, 12th November
Fitting was hit by fallen beech tree in July 2021 and has not been lit since. This is a dark stretch of road by the cemetery.

Mud & debris on road & footpath., 16th August
Workmen have left mud & debris over road and footpath. Thick sludge has been washed down surface drain - this was cleaned out by the council recently. When wet, the mud does not wash away - it ends up being transferred into the homes & cars of the 4-5 properties affected. Properties affected are numbers 1 - 5 The Crescent.

Subsidence in road., 13th July
Makes it difficult to access drive without catching bottom of car. This has been apparent for a number of years but appears to be getting worse in recent months. Issue at the end of Elmslac Road.

Footpath repair, Northern Powergrid, 24th April
Urgent need to try to re-instate the footpath where it is being excavated by N Powergrid at present, so that it is made level on completion. It has been in a poor state for many years and is not used safely by many elderly and disabled people. I have complained and asked Helmsley Town Council to press you and to ensure a special opportunity is taken to improve tis whilst it is being excavated Contact Jake Hampshire at Northern Powergrid 0800 668877 ref U19002193. the road is very busy with cars, lorries and busses, and it is unsafe causing people to walk on the road, which has had potholes repaired but needs re-surfacing badly! help appreciated on behalf of many elderly local residents and visitors!

Mini bus blocking communal bins., 2nd March
Disused mini bus blocking access/egress to communal bin area. Vehicle MOT expired last year. Owner does not move this vehicle very often but uses it for storage. Parked on public road and causes an obstruction and inconvenience to refuse collections.

Centre White Line Missing, 26th June
Despite being reported by someone else in Nov 2017, the white line down the centre of this road is still missing, due to the nature of on street parking and the curve in the road traffic heading east travel to far to the right...without the white line its a free for all.

Potholes reappearing after only a couple of months, 11th May
Ashdale road cul-de-sac has had issues with potholes for years. it needs to be fully resurfaced. They can re-tarmac footpaths only 18 months after being done and resurface other roadways in helmsley when there is physically nothing wrong with them. why can't the council do this short stretch properly once and foreall instead of just patching it up every few months.
