The beck that runs along side of the road has burst its banks and does so when there's heavy rain fall. It can happen quite quickly. Would it be possible to have 2 'flood warning' signs permanently kept in the village for quick deployment? We get a lot of through traffic along that road and some travel at speed, and when it's dark the surface water is hard to see.

Rotten bridge, 8th October
I have just had a very lucky escape today. The bridge is rotten and my horses leg has gone through it. This bridge is extremely dangerous. The wood and the steel underneath is rotten. The is is on railway street down the railway line from slingsby towards fryton. This is a serious accident waiting to happen

18 inch deep pothole outside my gateway., 15th February
This pothole has been there for over two years and is getting deeper with recent frost . The Lane has subsided over the years with now a large hump in the centre. Anything lower than a four wheel drive truck is now catching their underside. I can hear it daily. Cars are not speeding as they have only just turned off the main road. I have reported this in the past but it has not been rectified with the constant patching over the last few years.
