FIXMYSTREET IN YO61 1SB
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of YO61 1SB:
Unsafe road in and out of Aldwark, 8th April
This road is extremely unsafe. The verges on either side of the road have been eroded deeply by oversized tractors which has caused the edges of the road surface to crumble and give way, making the road even narrower. This has been an issue for some years now, but has been made worse with the oversized tractors last autumn. It has got to the stage that it is now dangerous to drive along the road because if a large vehicle drives towards you and you instinctively move to the side to get past, your car will go over the edge of the road into the deep ruts running alongside, causing damage to suspension and blowouts of tires
