Damaged bridge barrier, 20th January
It looks like someone hit the bridge a few weeks ago, which bent the western-barrier and caused it to point into the highway. When coming from the Kirkham direction, two metal poles point into the highway, and it feels like they are close enough to collide into if you met an oncoming vehicle here.

Road needs repairing, 17th July
The road needs to be completely resurfacing from corner of the orchards to the end of chapel lane . The surface is now full or deep potholes with many places below the acceptable required depth to call it a road . I has been reported time after time and N Y CC does nothing about the state of the road .The road has been like this for over 3 years since I moved here and it has been reported to the highways department and still we wait for the repairers to be done

Several deep potholes from where the new kerb finishes at the bend extending up to the next bend going towards Howsham. Dangerous when (frequently) filled with water.
