Now that the new Pocklington Group Practice Centre is open, the footpath on West Green will be used much more than previously, and many of the new users of this stretch of path will be elderly. From the Library to the Brookside Centre the tarmac is cracked, crumbling and loose all along the east side of West Green. Serious pothole, 10th March
A large pothole on Hodsow Lane, about one third of a mile past the junction with Canal Lane, travelling towards the A1079. This pothole is large and deep and one of the biggest I've come across for some time. Traffic is forced into it because of the width of the road and oncoming traffic. The speed limit is 60mph. This is a serious hazard. Present for at least 2 - 3 weeks.

A 30mph sign on Barmby Road on the approach to Pocklington is concealed by an overgrown hedgerow. (The one on the other side of the road is not visible from a distance because of a tree in the grass verge: this one probably is within specification.)
