'Horse's ' signage, 10th March
There are several horses ridden on this road and speeding traffic has recently caused upset for the horses as traffic has been too close in proximity and travelled oast the horses at speed . Signage would improve awareness and safety for both horse and rider and motorist

Complete road surface potholed on the approach to the Hopgrove roundabout east bound A1237, 30th January
This road has been in a very poor condition for months now. This is a very busy section of road and the recent poor weather has made it worse. It is on the A1237 on the approach to the Hopgrove roundabout. The complete road surface has come adrift completely on some sections. Other roundabouts on the outer ring road have been repaired last year but this one has been missed. Please inspect it as soon as possible. Thank you.

Road surface breaking up on the approach to the west of the two Hopgrove roundabouts, 9th December
The road surface has been deteriorating on the approach from the west to the western roundabout of the double Hopgrove roundabout, for about 100 yards before the traffic lights, and is getting worse. As the winter weather starts to bite the road surface will need to be replaced before long on that section.

Road kerbside gullys full not letting water drain away, 2nd August
Due to the fact the road surface is breaking down duecto wear and tear and lack maintenance, the particles of road stone and tarmac are pushed into the kerbside and washed down to the gullies create barriers around the gullies and flood the road

Footpath littered with vegetation debris, 17th July
The footpath along Hopgrove Lane South from a point at the bottom of the bridge adjacent to the garden nursery to the top of the bridge at Stockton Lane is encrusted with leaves and other vegetation, in places the width of the footpath has been reduced to 50% its normal width. When wet it is difficult to walk on, a poor chap the other day in his electric wheelchair, lost traction and had to be pushed to get moving again. The trees need trimming along this route, people do walk in the road sometimes to avoid the trees and debris on the footpath.

Several massive potholes on half of road., 13th July
Lots of massive potholes. Someone painted round the several months ago but never came back! We have to now drive round them but when it rains it is difficult to see the deepest ones. The junction at the end surface is breaking up so slight skid when setting off. Something needs to be done urgently before our cars are ruined.
