Smell of Dog Waste from Bin, 6th January
The combined dog waste/rubbish bin by Brecks Lane, Strensall bus terminus has a strong smell of dog waste from it. The bin should be relocated a little further away from the bus stop so the smells do not affect those waiting for buses. Another option is the bin to be cleaned.

Blocked drain adjacent to Old Station House, 3rd January
There is a blocked drain by the Old Station House at the junction of the Village with Brecks Lane which overflows causing a large puddle on the road covering the Strensall bound carriageway. This needs ridding and cleaning.

Whole house shaking when any buses/lorries/vans drive by, 12th July
The whole house shakes when anything heavier than a car drives past the house If you have a couple glasses on a shelf they rattle very loudly, there are large cracks in the house that have to filled in regularly. There are 4 buses an hour and countless lorries, tractors etc

Neighbour parking in turning point of cul-de-sac, 3rd June
One neighbour parks their car nearly every day in the turning point of the culdesac. It is nearest their house and even though doesn't necessarily prevent cars from turning (although can cause issues for larger vehicles), it makes no sense that they should park it there given they have a driveway that is always clear. This follows on from last year when they had an extension built and used the turning point to park their skip (which left glass debris on the communal lawns). The area is sometimes used for visitor parking during holiday periods so that the culdesac can be kept as free of cars as possible on the main part of the street. This is because they are lots of young children who live on the street and regularly play out. There is a management company for the street but I don't think they have any power to do anything about this.
